1. Marketing Website (fliteaxis.com)

Use of the Website

You may use our marketing website for informational purposes and to join our waitlist. You agree not to:

• Use the website for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, copy, or distribute website content without permission
• Submit false or misleading information

Waitlist

By joining our waitlist, you consent to receive emails about FliteAxis launch and availability. You may unsubscribe at any time. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the product or any specific pricing.

Intellectual Property

All content on fliteaxis.com, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by FliteAxis and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without written permission.

2. FliteAxis SaaS Platform (When Launched)

This section will apply to the hosted version of FliteAxis when it becomes available. The SaaS platform is not yet launched.

Account Registration

To use the FliteAxis SaaS platform, you will need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account
• Not share your account with others

Acceptable Use

When using the FliteAxis SaaS platform, you agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to spam or send unsolicited communications
• Overload or interfere with the service's operation
• Scrape or automated data collection from the platform

Subscription and Payment

When the SaaS platform launches:

• Subscriptions will be billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual)
• Payment is due at the start of each billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis
• Free trial terms will be specified when the service launches

Service Availability

We will strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions due to maintenance or technical issues
• Data loss (though we will implement regular backups)
• Third-party service failures

We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible.

Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to your data. By using the service:

• You grant us permission to store and process your data to provide the service
• You can export your data at any time
• Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days
• We will never sell your personal aviation data to third parties

Termination

Either party may terminate service:

• You: May cancel your subscription at any time
• We: May suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• We: May discontinue the service with 90 days notice

Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before permanent deletion.

Beta Access

During the beta period:

• The service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs
• Features may change without notice
• We appreciate feedback and bug reports
• Service may be free or discounted during beta

3. TrueHour Open Source Software (Self-Hosted)

License

The TrueHour open source software is licensed under the MIT License. The full license text is available in the source code repository. The MIT License is a permissive license that allows you to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the conditions in the license.

No Warranty

The open source software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That the software will work without errors
• That the software is suitable for any particular purpose
• Support or maintenance for self-hosted installations
• Security updates or bug fixes (though we will make reasonable efforts)

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the self-hosted software, including but not limited to:

• Data loss or corruption
• Service interruptions
• Security breaches
• Errors in calculations or expense tracking

Your Responsibilities

When self-hosting FliteAxis, you are responsible for:

• Securing your server and installation
• Maintaining backups of your data
• Keeping the software updated
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• Obtaining necessary licenses for any dependencies

Contributions

If you contribute code, documentation, or other materials to the TrueHour open source project, you agree to license your contributions under the MIT License. You represent that you have the right to make such contributions.

Trademarks

While the software code is licensed under the MIT License, the TrueHour name and FliteAxis name and logos are trademarks. You may not use our trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement or creates confusion about the source of the software.
