- Aviation data: Flight expenses, aircraft information, logbook data you choose to upload

Data Ownership
You own your data. All aviation expense data, flight information, and related content you create within FliteAxis belongs to you. We will never sell your personal aviation data to third parties.

3. TrueHour Open Source Software (Self-Hosted)
No Data Collection by FliteAxis
When you self-host the TrueHour open source software (licensed under the MIT License):
- We do not collect any data from your installation
- All data stays on your own server or computer
- No analytics or tracking code is included
- No data is sent to FliteAxis or any third parties
- You have complete control over your data
Your Responsibility
When self-hosting FliteAxis, you are responsible for:
- Securing your own server and data
- Implementing backups
- Maintaining software updates
- Ensuring compliance with any applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction

Optional Features
If the open source version includes optional features that connect to external services (e.g., logbook import from third-party providers), those services have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them before enabling such features.
General Provisions
Children's Privacy
FliteAxis is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
FliteAxis is operated in the United States. If you are accessing FliteAxis from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date.
